Stop the Sale of Shark Fins

While we celebrate Shark Week by marveling over the creature's incredible strength and beauty, we shouldn’t forget that sharks around the world are at risk.

Humans kill tens of millions of shark per year, mainly for their fins. The cruel practice of finning—cutting off the fins for soup, then dumping the maimed animal back into the ocean to die—is devastating shark populations and damaging the health of our ocean.

This Shark Week, please help us spread the word — sign the No Shark Fin pledge and share this with your friends, family and neighbors:

I pledge to protect sharks and support efforts to ban shark finning around the world.
